The Shakti Circle

Calling all Goddesses and Shaktas!

For quite some time now I have felt called to gather the amazing women I am blessed to know in community and circle to celebrate and honor the power of the feminine. Inspired by the “Red Tent”, ancient wisdom and story, and personal experience I am continually amazed by the incredible beauty and awakening that occurs when women gather. Whether out climbing, biking, hiking, on the mat, or feasting at a goddess brunch, I have felt the strength and joy of my girlfriends wrap me in this beautiful hug of inspiration and elevation. As we move through life in and out of light and shadow, it is the call of the feminine that can remind us to come home, to remember the support of our Earth Mother and the universal connection we share as mothers, sisters, girlfriends, daughters and tribe, no matter what life may be showing up with.

Inspired by a dear friend and amazing yoga teacher Sasha Bahador, the Shakti Circle has been created to be a monthly gathering under the Full Moon that will allow you to unleash your goddess spirit, experience grounding and deep serenity as you tap into your innate wisdom; increase your capacity to love, heal and feel true passion and ecstatic joy; remember your beauty, radiance and natural feminine rhythm, and most importantly be in the presence of like-minded women to live, laugh, love and have the support to BE exactly where you need to.

I hereby invite you all to join me in ceremony and sisterhood under the light of the upcoming Full Moon in support, strength and celebration of our Sacred Feminine life force. Awaken and honor the goddess spirit within and feel the power of connection with Mother Earth and one another. As we unite in community for this full moon gathering we will be celebrating our Roots and Rhythms as women! This workshop will include meditation, yoga asana (postures), personal reflection and open circle. Bring a yoga mat, notebook, water bottle and comfortable clothes to practice in.

*Shakti (Devanagari: शक्ति) from Sanskrit shak – “to be able,” meaning sacred force or empowerment; the primordial cosmic energy; the mother goddess, the source of all, the universal principle of energy, power or creativity.”
