Learn the foundation and proper technique of Flow (Vinyasa) yoga. This 3-hr workshop will introduce you to the basic poses and sequence of this dynamic style of yoga. You will have the time to explore the postures in their correct form and learn how to place them in your body. We will break down the movements, cues, alignment principles, modifications and provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge and experience to deepen your practice and give you the confidence and skills to comfortable drop in to all levels of flow classes. We will discuss basic anatomy, proper breathing techniques as well as learn about the bandhas or energy locks to support the strength development in your practice. This is a great workshop for beginners and those newer to flow styles of yoga classes. It is also a wonderful refresher for those yogis who have been practicing for a while and are curious about their alignment, proper muscular engagement and in correcting habitual patterns of movement dysfunction.
